MatchDay Coach ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our mobile application and website at matchdaycoach.app.

Information We Collect

• Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Supabase Auth.
• Team and roster data: Information you enter about your team, players, and match schedule is stored securely in our database.
• Snack signup data: If parents use the Snack Signup feature, we collect their name and optionally their phone number and email address.
• Usage analytics: We use PostHog to collect anonymized usage data to improve the app. This does not include personally identifiable information.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the MatchDay Coach app and services
• To send push notifications about upcoming matches (with your permission)
• To enable the Snack Signup feature for your team
• To respond to support requests

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We use the following service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• PostHog — anonymized product analytics
• Vercel — website hosting

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings screen in the app, which permanently removes all your data.

Children's Privacy

MatchDay Coach is designed for coaches and parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player data (names, jersey numbers) is entered by coaches and is not associated with individual child accounts.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account deletion feature.
